Flights, transfers and car hire for Cyprus
The main airlines between the UK and Cyprus are: British Airways, easyJet, Monarch Airlines, Cyprus Airways, Thomsonfly, First Choice Airways, My Travel, Jet2 and Thomas Cook.
If you are taking a taxi or hire car transfer, Paphos airport is 20 minutes away from the villa.
There tends to be a greater choice of flights to Larnaca. Although further, it's an easy 70 minute drive on a quiet motorway all the way to the Pissouri Bay turn-off.
When booking flights it is often helpful to compare prices with online travel agents and airline websites.
Most charter flights arrive in Cyprus on Wednesdays and Sundays. We try to be flexible about our changeover days. Flights from the UK take around 4½ hours, and Cyprus time is 2 hours ahead of the UK.

FLIGHTS FROM EUROPE
The official website for Larnaca and Paphos airports allows you to research flight timetables to Cyprus. You can find which airlines fly your preferred route, flight times, days, etc.
NEW ROUTES Ryanair is launching Paphos as a hub in 2012 with flights to Budapest, Chania, Oslo, Frankfurt, Patras, Kaunas, London Stansted, Pisa, Krakow, Rome, Stockholm, Memmingen, Thessaloniki, Milan and Treviso.
TRANSFERS
A taxi from Paphos airport to the villa should cost €30 - €35 depending on arrival time according to the Cyprus Tourism Organisation current official rates. In reality you will find that taxi drivers can be rather tricky to deal with and try to charge somewhat more. Ensure you agree the fare before setting off and that the meter is used. There is a new airport shuttle between Larnaca and Limassol for €8 pp which could be combined with a bus or taxi for a more cost effective transfer if your flight is to Larnaca.
CAR HIRE
Driving in Cyprus is on the left, and roads are less congested than the UK.
The main car hire companies including HolidayAutos (Europcar) have desks at both airports. It is generally better to pre-book, and worth getting a car with air-conditioning.
Alternatively, you could take a taxi to the villa and hire a car locally for all or part of your stay. There are several car rental offices in Pissouri Bay, including SelectCarRentals.
